Tomas Expediciones participates in the signing of Ferrmed agreements in Zhengzhou

The Chinese authorities of Zhengzhou, FERRMED and the UIC (International Union of Railways) have signed a cooperation agreement in Zhengzhou for the development of a platform that brings together the Large logistic hubs from Europe and Asia.

Aristarco Tomás, in representation of Tomás Expediciones, has had a key role in these agreements, establishing a direct agreement between this company and Zhengzhou, where it intends to establish an international logistic cooperation between China and Europe.

The purpose of this Platform is "to promote the exchange and cooperation between the large logistics and industrial hubs within the" One Belt, One Road "initiative, to significantly improve the connectivity and efficiency of rail and multimodal freight transport between China and the European Union. " Companies, research and development centers, railway and logistic operators ... are invited to participate in this operation, which will be supported by the FERRMED Multisectoral Working Groups.

Zhengzhou and FERRMED have agreed to collaborate together in the promotion of rail freight transport and in the growth of business relationships in all its facets, through both representative offices in China and Europe.

These agreements have been taken in the course of the Conference organized, jointly between the Chinese authorities and FERRMED, under the theme "Eurasian Connectivity and Industrial Cooperation Forum" with a significant participation of companies and institutions from various countries of the European Union, the Federation Russian and the People's Republic of China.
